RailTrends 2012 Speakers and Their Bios

Robert C. Henry is the Vice President of Operations for Dakota Plains Holdings, Inc. Mr. Henry began his professional career in the rail industry in 1995. He joined CDM Smith as Director of Freight Railroad Planning in 2010, where he managed rail projects and performed freight transportation planning and analysis. Prior to joining CDM Smith, he spent four years with Twin Cities & Western Railroad as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Before his work with Twin Cities & Western, he worked for BNSF Logistics in Arkansas, where Mr. Henry developed and deployed strategies for rail freight transportation and provided clients with complete design and installation of rail facilities to be served by major rail carriers. Prior to BNSF, Mr. Henry worked in business development and business management for the Arkansas & Missouri and for nine years with the Union Pacific. Mr. Henry earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Finance and Economics, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
